Awa High School Exchange
March 18-30, 2001

Each year, for the past several years, Awa High School (Tateyama) and Squalicum/Bellingham High Schools have exchanged student delegations.  This year, from March 18-24, 25 students and 2 teachers from Awa High School came to Bellingham.  The event was organized by Squalicum HS teacher Bob Jorgenson and his students from Japan Club.  The Japanese students and teachers lived with homestay families and enjoyed a busy schedule; visiting the local high schools, sightseeing in Seattle, and putting on a talent show for their Bellingham hosts.   BSCA would like to thank Bob, his students, and all the people who worked hard to make this exchange a success once again.
